Ecommerce Case Studies

Real stores.
Real work.
Checkable.

Every case study names the store, the platform and the market it trades in. No borrowed logos, no percentages without a source, and nothing we can’t put a client on a call to confirm.

Judge us on the things we don’t control: awards judged by a panel, partner status granted by the platform, and reviews sitting on sites where we can’t edit a word.

Growth & marketing

What each store was
actually up against.

SEO, speed and conversion engagements. Every write-up runs the same way: the situation we walked into, the constraint that was really causing it, the work we shipped, and what it changed for the business.

Glass Railing Store Shopify storefront

Glass Railing Store · Shopify · Canada + US

A high-ticket catalogue stuck on page two, in four markets at once.

Railings sell in the thousands, so a buyer researches for weeks before they order. This store ranked well enough to be found and badly enough to be skipped — across Canadian, US, Spanish and French storefronts that all had to stay separate. The work was structural, not cosmetic.

The Appliance Guys Shopify storefront

The Appliance Guys · Shopify · Sydney & Brisbane

An appliance retailer competing with the manufacturers themselves.

Appliance buyers search by brand and model number, which puts a retailer in direct competition with the manufacturer’s own site and every other stockist carrying the identical product feed. Winning meant building pages that answer the install, spec and delivery questions the brand sites never bother to.

Wholesale Bar Stool Club

Three years of apps. Nobody had ever audited them.

Every app on a wholesale catalogue was added to solve something real, and none were ever removed. The category pages that actually take the order had become the slowest on the site. We audited the stack before touching the theme, because the theme was not the problem.

Development & builds

Storefronts designed,
built and shipped.

The build work is judged on the thing itself, so every tile opens the live store. Go and look at the product pages, the filtering, the checkout — that is the portfolio, not a screenshot of it.

Platform confirmed live where shown. Helly Hansen and Beautysense block automated checks, so no platform is claimed for those two.

How to read these

What every case study
here has to contain.

Most agency case studies are a logo and a percentage. These follow a fixed shape, so you can hold them against each other — and against anyone else’s.

The starting position

Where the store actually was before we touched it — a number with a date on it, not the word “underperforming”.

The real constraint

What was causing it. Usually one or two things, not the twelve-point list an audit tool spits out.

What we shipped

The specific work, in the order it went live — including anything we tried that didn’t move the number.

The measurement source

Which tool produced the figure, and when, so the same test can be re-run by anyone.

What it doesn’t prove

The limits of the result. Ranking is not revenue, and a faster page is not a better offer. Each study says what it can’t claim.

Named, with permission

Client names appear only where permission was given. Where it wasn’t, the engagement stays off this page entirely.

Before you compare us

The questions buyers ask
about a results page.

Where do these revenue figures come from?

From the client’s own ecommerce platform — organic sessions matched to real orders, not an estimated “traffic value” invented by an SEO tool. Each figure is published with the client’s permission and the period it covers. You’ll notice there are no percentage uplifts anywhere on this page: a percentage without a starting number can be made to say anything, so we publish the absolute figure or nothing at all.

Why are there so few case studies?

Because a study only goes up when the client has agreed to be named and the result can be independently verified. Engagements missing either stay off the page. The list grows slowly on purpose.

Can I speak to one of these clients?

Yes. Ask on the call and we’ll arrange a reference with a client in a similar category or on a similar platform, subject to their agreement.

Why isn’t there a figure on every case study?

Because not every client has agreed to publish one, and we won’t put a number on this page without that agreement. Where a study shows no figure the work is described instead, and we’ll walk you through the reporting for a comparable account on the call.

Do you guarantee the same result?

No. Nobody controls Google’s algorithm, and an agency guaranteeing position one is promising what it cannot deliver. We commit to a documented process, an honest timeline, and reporting that traces the work back to orders.
