EcomOptix is a specialist ecommerce SEO and development agency serving Australian brands doing $30K–$300K/month. We help store owners reduce paid ad dependency and build compounding organic revenue — through structured execution, platform-specific expertise, and uncomfortable transparency.
I started in SEO in 2016 — as a freelancer, watching agencies charge $5K/month to write blog posts nobody read. I’d be hired to “fix” what another agency had failed at, usually finding that the previous team had never touched the one thing that mattered: the commercial pages.
By 2018, I’d done enough of this to see the pattern. Agencies were optimising for what was easy to report — keyword counts, traffic numbers, blog publishing cadence — not for what was hard to deliver: category page rankings, commercial keyword authority, and revenue attributable to organic search.
EcomOptix started because the alternative was to keep watching AU ecommerce brands waste money on the wrong work. We built the agency I’d wanted as a client: structured, specialist, and uncomfortable with vanity metrics.
Today we’re a team of 20+ specialists across SEO, development, content, and outreach — serving brands across Australia, the US, and UK. We still audit every engagement for fit before we take it. We still report on revenue, not rankings. And we still turn down more work than we take on.
That’s the whole thing. No mission statement. No “disrupting the industry.” Just the agency I wanted to exist.
The ecommerce SEO industry is full of agencies optimising for what’s easy to report. We optimised for what’s hard to deliver — and made it the standard.
Trust is built on what you won’t do. Here’s the public commitment every EcomOptix engagement operates under — signed by leadership and enforceable.

Published work on WooCommerce category architecture, Shopify Plus SEO, and AI search visibility (GEO). Speaker at AU ecommerce events. Top Rated Plus on Upwork with a 100% job success score since 2019.
Every engagement gets a dedicated cross-functional team — not a single generalist doing everything. Below are the roles on your account. You’ll meet the specific specialists assigned to your engagement during onboarding.
⚑ A note on team composition: We deliberately describe our team by role, not by name. Our clients hire EcomOptix for the system — not individual team members. When specialists change or new ones join, your engagement continues without disruption. You’ll be introduced to your specific assigned specialists during onboarding, and any changes are communicated directly.
